The iPhone UI for QBOE looks great!  Are there plans to allow users to update information from the iPhone UI?

Having access to contact information is nice, but adding new customers or updating contact information on the road would be awesome!

Thanks very much for your feedback, Brian. We completely agree with you, and that’s the direction we’d like to move toward. At the moment we have no timetable for providing that capability. However, if and when we do, you’ll probably see it here first. So check back every so often!

This would be perfect if I could just collect money and enter payments/deposits on-site right into the app! Any chance you can add this feature? Pleeeaaaasssee? =)

H J Willis | 8/06/08 at 8:20 am

I agree with Aaron.  Pleeeaaasssee!?!?  Entering an invoice from anywhere would be terrific.  Then, to be able to FAX it right to the customer I’m standing in front of would be too cool.

Stephanie Martini | 8/06/08 at 2:33 pm

Aaron and HJ, we appreciate your feedback. We totally agree with you! Based on feedback like yours, we know that being able to enter data is going to be important in the mobile space. Please watch this site for enhancements that we make, and please send more ideas as you think of them.

Aaron, with Intuit Billing Manager (http://www.intuitlabs.com/apps/billing-manager) you can actually invoice your clients, and if you sign up for the optional QuickBooks Merchant Service, accept credit card payments right into the app, or from your iPhone at your client’s site.

Hope this helps,
Keyvan

Using my iTouch to access QBOE is great… just wish we could see a payroll dashboard as well with the things to do alerts (pay employee dates, payroll tax dates, and upcoming payroll forms due dates.

I played around with the demo company and this app looks like a great start.  However, I am a mac user.  When will I be able to use QuickBooks Online on my mac?

Elizabeth | 8/24/08 at 10:44 am

Love the demo…I agree with all of the suggested upgrades… and I’ll echo Rick above and ask when will I be able to use Quickbooks Online on my Mac? Great work otherwise…

Would love to be able to enter data such as credit card reciepts for purchases.  For instance for my small business when I pay for gas at the gas station, to be able to enter that charge and not have to carry around the receipt for days until I get home to enter it.
