What does it do?

Save money by going greener

Intuit Green Snapshot gives you recommendations on how to save money by going greener. It's all based on your QuickBooks data, so there’s no extra work for you!

With Intuit Green Snapshot, it’s easy to:

  • View a chart that estimates your biggest categories of carbon emissions based on your QuickBooks expenses with just a few clicks.
  • Scroll through recommendations to help your business go greener and save money. Each idea is clearly written, provides a description of how to take the action and offers links to key resources.
  • Share your progress with your customers – give your green customers a reason to keep coming back!

Requirements

You’ll need QuickBooks Desktop, version 2006 or newer; Internet Explorer version 6.0 or greater; and Adobe Flash Player to use Intuit Green Snapshot.

Intuit Green Snapshot

Looks nice guys but I would alter the pie charts look n' feel, not very easy to see what is categorized with what. Maybe have a color coded list next to it that matches the color on the pie chart... then roll over the pie chart items and the links highlight and vice versa - roll over the links, and have that chunk of the pie chart "activate" or highlight of some sort? Just an idea, but keep up the good work guys!

I think this is great and have been discussing with John about it. I think an extension, Damagochi like avatar, could potentially make this activity more fun and entertaining.
