Split transactions is a frequent request more frequent among existing quicken customers, not so much for new to quicken/quickenonline. We are looking at it.

Non-online accounts are coming, starting with cash tracking, once we have that it enables any non-connected account.

Recurring transactons you can setup yourself are also in the works, should be available soon.

Here’s another vote for a stand-alone quicken app for the iphone.  I use Pocket Quicken on my Treo and sync it to my Mac all the time.  The absence of a comparable app for the iphone is the only thing keeping me from switching.

I second (or Third) the recommendation/request/desire/need for Quicken for the iphone and itouch FOR THE MAC. How about simply a widget, like what I use now on my desktop for entry. It would be sooo much easier to enter this information on the fly rather than shoving receipts in my overstuffed wallet only to be entered at all at once taking hours. Since I am wishing - a beefed up version of the widget might allow me to also retrieve account balance info as of my last sync.

thanks,

Michael

I just signed up for the trial version of Quicken Online. I feel it is lacking some very important key features:

* Ability to split transactions
* Unable to create non-online accounts, I have several non-online accounts.
* Option to setup recurring transactions, for example paycheck with split option for how much in fed taxes etc. I have all kinds of recurring transactions that I like to have auto entered in the register several days in advance so I get a feel for my real balance several days into the future.  Great for short term planning.

Are any of these features coming to Quicken Online?

Thanks!

Even though I’m a long-time Intuit employee, I have also been a long-time Quicken desktop abandoner. Sorry, but it’s true!

That said, once I tried Quicken Online, I was hooked. It was super easy to set up, and I get exactly the info I need to make decisions for our family’s finances.

I agree Kelly that is a great idea!  We will certainly look into it and keep you posted.
